Cancer can be really hard to find and diagnose – a lot of symptoms are not very obvious. Cancer Research UK says that you should be away if there are any chances to your body that dont go away over time – usually these and not serious and very unlikely to be cancer but it is good to be aware of. Some cancers can be more obvious than others, like if they have a lump (like breast, prostate), or if they change colour (skin cancer can show as a mole that has a weird shape or changes colour). Others like cancer of the internal organs can be harder to notice if you cant see them. If someone comes to the doctor with a few suspicious health issues that havent gone away, the doctor might carry out a series of blood tests and scans to see if they can find any cancer.
