We can’t live forever as the sun has a finite lifespan. When the sun explodes we can’t go on and nor can any life on earth. That is not expected for a few million, million years fortunately!

I think it really depends on how long the planet survives. Unfortunately, we are sort of killing the planet right now through our global warming and waste disposal. If we can sort those out, our planet will live longer and therefore we will too.

Yeah, we are doing a poor job of looking after the planet at the moment. If we can stop doing so much damage to Earth, we might be able to hang around as a species long enough to see the sun explode. By then maybe we will have invented warp drive, hyperdrive or the dark matter engine so we can find another home in another solar system!

Individually, I think we might extend the average human lifespan to about 100 years, but it will take a lot of work to reduce the impact of the diseases that tend to affect us in later life.
