Now that is a really interesting question. We are made up of eukaryotic cells – around 37.2 TRILLION of them! However, our bodies have a really close relationship with good bacteria, especially in the gut and on the skin. Scientists estimate that there could be three times the number of bacterial cells in our body, than our own cells! So that would be roughly 100 trillion!
