• Question: If every cell has different DNA, then how do new cells get there DNA?

      Its a really clever system that cells use to multiply called mitosis. The cell first makes a copy of its DNA and then all the chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell and get pulled apart to opposite ends and two new cells are formed from one! Differences in DNA can happen while the cell is copying its DNA, and these are usually very minor changes that only alter the DNA a little bit.
