Given the number of other planets out there, the answer is almost certainly “yes”! Thats a very cool thought – aliens probably exist!
We don’t have any really convincing evidence that they exist yet, though. They’re just very likely to be there in theory. They might be too far away to know we’re here or not advanced enough to be able to find us.

As Eoin pointed out, there are big chances that there is some form of life out there. It is likely that they are cells like bacteria and other simple forms of life. Whether there are superior (as in thinking) forms of life other than humans…theoretically there is a chance, but it is very very very low, so if I had to guess I’d say that we are not going to be visited by aliens any time soon.

Yeah there must be, given the size of the universe and beyond… If you believe that life on earth all began when there was the big bang, if there was another big bang in another galaxy, the same thing could have happened there. But will we ever know for sure? I don’t know – hopefully!

well so far we have not found anything living on other planets, but we haven´t visited very many! And we define life as carbon based life forms….so even if we found life we might not recognise it.
