Cryofreezing is a way of freezing something using liquid nitrogen – its quite dangerous so you have to be very careful with liquid nitrogen. We use it to freeze all of our cells in the lab so they can be stored for a long time and then brought ‘back to life’ when we need to use them. Its also used in freezing off warts and verrucas – it freezes it to about -196 degrees!
