My favourite part of science is discovering something new, which even these days, happens quite a lot. There is so much we don’t know about the body, that when I get to design an experiment to answer a question no-one else has asked, thats so exciting! I love working in cancer research because its such a devastating disease that everyone could be affected by. The more we learn about cancer, the closer we get to being able to treat it. If I can have a career where I am helping people by discovering new things, that would be awesome!

my fav part is never stop learning new things and asking new questions. It is funny how the more you know about something, the more you realize you don’t know much – that leads to start asking lots of questions. The fun part of science is that you can actually try answer them with experiments/data analysis. In addition, some of this questions are important and could be useful: if we discover something new about how cancer works, we may be able to develop new treatments and improve the chances of some patients.
